The CORE Programme team met at the University of Glasgow on 30 April and 1 May 2026 for its 14th programme management meeting. Bringing together members of the CORE consortium and programme partners, the two-day meeting provided an opportunity to review progress across the research work packages, strengthen collaboration, and plan the next stages of programme delivery.

Strengthening
community engagement
The meeting included updates on Community Engagement and Involvement (CEI) activities across Colombia, India, Kenya and Brazil, including community forums, link workers and outreach activities.
On the second day, the group also visited The Annexe, where they met with staff members and service users and shared experiences. This was a great opportunity to learn from different perspectives and strengthen connections with local communities.
Training and
capacity building
The PMG reviewed progress and plans for the CORE Programme's training and capacity-building activities, including UCL webinars, MSc and MPH studentships, mentorship opportunities and in-person training courses across partner countries.
Looking ahead
The meeting also focused on the future direction of the CORE Programme, including monitoring, evaluation and learning, communications, future funding opportunities, and plans for the 2026 PMG meeting in Brazil.
