Aim

This additional component aims to create a fund to support local small scale developmental studies in each country linked to the overarching aims of the programme.

Objectives

• To allocate funding to each country to support local research studies linked to the overall aims and objectives of the research programme.

​

• To co-develop a formal application, review and monitoring process with each country to ensure a fair, transparent and rigorous system is used to allocate funds and monitor outputs.

​

• To encourage established and early career oral health researchers to apply for funding.

​

• To fund up to six studies in each country through this responsive funding mechanism.
