Priyanshu Kumar Shrivastava

Priyanshu is an MSc Dental Public Health student at University College London, supported through the training and capacity-building initiative of the CORE programme. He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Jamia Millia Islamia, India, and currently works as a Research Assistant supporting the CORE programme at UCL.

 

His research interests include oral health inequalities, social determinants of health, and health systems research, with a particular interest in developing and evaluating interventions that can address inequities in oral health. His master’s research involved a multi-country qualitative analysis exploring the impact of oral diseases on marginalised populations across Brazil, Colombia, India, Kenya, Nigeria and the United Kingdom. He has contributed to research across dental public health and dentistry, including evidence synthesis and primary research, and has published in these areas.

 

Priyanshu is committed to working with the underserved community at the intersection of research, policy and practice to support the development and implementation of evidence-informed approaches for more equitable oral health.
