Amit Kumar Singh is a Project Officer at the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) under the CORE Project, bringing over 12 years of progressive experience in project management, operations and research coordination across a range of public health initiatives. He holds an MBA in Human Resources and Operations Management and has developed extensive expertise in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects involving financial oversight, logistical planning, procurement, contract management and research operations.
In his current role, Amit leads and supports project operations, ensuring effective coordination among multidisciplinary teams while maintaining compliance with institutional, regulatory and donor requirements. His key responsibilities include financial reporting, budget monitoring, procurement planning, vendor management, contract administration and the preparation of compliance and project documentation. He also contributes to the development and standardization of operational processes to improve efficiency, accountability and project performance.
Amit has played a pivotal role in implementing capacity-building initiatives, supporting workshops, training programs and the development of operational guidelines and process documentation aimed at strengthening public health project implementation. His strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills enable him to effectively support senior researchers, program managers, field teams and external stakeholders in achieving project objectives.
