Abhishek Mehta

Professor Abhishek Mehta (BDS, MDS) is an alumni of Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Karnataka, India. He has more than 17 years of academic experience in the field of Dental Public Health and is currently head of the Department of Public Health Dentistry at Jamia Millia Islamia University in New Delhi.

 

His areas of research are dental epidemiology and data analysis, tobacco-based research, conducting evidence-based reviews and qualitative surveys. He has published more than 35 scientific articles in reputed journals. His current h index is 15 with more than 1000 citations. He is on the reviewer and editorial board of many prestigious dental journals and is currently the Associate Editor of the Pierre Fauchard academy journal. He has been on the examiner panels of esteemed institutions in India and Nepal. He lectures for various dental institutions in India on research proposal writing, scientific writing and conducting systematic reviews.
